Placed in small teams, you will be responsible for executing and monitoring critical segments of our business, starting with our front-end process (deal sourcing) and moving to our back-end process (deal qualification and funding) if you show the qualification in the program when we give you assignments. You will be responsible for executing your tasks while monitoring their impact and developing strategies to improve the quality and results of the teams you are in and the projects you are assigned.
Please note we DO NOT teach and do not require financial analysis or modeling skills, but we will test those who have the background and/or experience to be potentially involved in those assignments if available or needed. I.E. If you have the relevant experience and/or knowledge, once we have active deals proceed to the preparation stage or later stages, we will involve those who are qualified to be on the projects with our deal managers or partners.
This is a 6-month UNPAID internship and can be applied for credit if accepted at your university.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting extensive industry research and developing reports
- Utilizing our database management tools and working on CRM process(SalesForce, Hoover)
- Screening/qualifying executives for BMP process
- Helping executives develop acquisition targets
- Managing relationships with PEG’s
- Conducting extensive research on target companies
- Assisting in developing/ presenting acquisition proposals
- Participating in deal sourcing, capital raising process, and campaigns
